Compare and contrast living in an apartment and in the dormitory (I)

I think that living in an apartment and living in the dormitory have both their advantages and disadvantages. I have been living in the dormitory for almost two years and I feel very satisfied with this, the advantages for the students are many: you do not need to take a bus to go to class, the cost of the room and food in the campus are cheaper than outside, so you can save a lot of money. Moreover if your roommates are also your classmates maybe the friendship improves.

Unlike living in the dormitory, living in an apartment is more expensive. Perhaps the transportation is complicated and you need to schedule better your time, but if you find a good place you can have more space and privacy and maybe you have the option to make your meals unlike in the dormitory.
